Fred has donated 200 books of his recent publication to WCGS so from this stash all profits go to WCGS to augment research materials for our wonderful library.

          This book tells the story of the unusual 80-year history of ARO and it's company founder,     John Clifton Markey.  It's definitely a one-of-a-kind story; the book has a wide assortment 
of photos and write-ups of workers at the ARO within its 368 pages.

       1850 Defiance County Federal Census

    Farmer - Milford - Tiffin - Washington Townships

     Defiance County was part of Williams County up to 1845 when Defiance County became a county in its own right.  Many of the people who lived in those tier-townships have records found in Williams County.  Compiling the census for 1850 is hoped to be a help for those researchers who have people in these areas.
